Editing & Creative Tools
CapCut
My go-to software for editing videos and audio for Instagram. I’ve used CapCut to create short-form, engaging videos for platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
Adobe Premiere Pro
My go-to software for editing video and audio for Youtube. I’ve used Premiere Pro for a range of projects from internship work to personal vlogs focusing on storytelling, pacing, and clean transitions.
Procreate
I use Procreate to create digital illustrations and artwork. It’s where I bring my visual ideas to life, blending traditional drawing with digital tools.
Canva
Used Canva throughout university for posters, infographics, and social media content. I focus on creating visually cohesive designs that are on-brand and informative.
Personal Content Creation Examples
In my spare time, I enjoy filming and editing vlogs, which has allowed me to develop and refine my skills in CapCut and Adobe Premiere Pro. This creative outlet has not only improved my editing efficiency but also enables me to capture meaningful moments and reflect on personal growth.
Painting for a whole month challenge
“Day __ Painting a portrait everyday for a whole month” with me throwing paint tubes or dropping canvases as my hook on Instagram Reels!
I painted portraits everyday to improve my ability to paint realistically. This was challenging as it pushed my creativity while also testing my time management and patience.
Not only was it an art challenge, but it was also a content creation challenge. While creating content of my work, I applied strategies I’ve learnt from my Marketing classes. This included using a strong hook, sound effects, clear presentation, appropriate video length and posting at the right time. I found that posting at 6pm NZT worked best for engagement. I also used CapCut to edit my videos efficiently.

It was a really fun challenge and I would love to paint more in the future! Check out my works on Instagram! @crystalbiano
